balanced class

I'm having a fair few issues with my build right now.

I put loads into block, but don't seem to block that much yet everyone else somehow negates me.
Techs just kill me for the most part (like ones who are 8k less rating than me), no matter how much i put into escape subs and block.
No matter what stamina i have it doesn't seem to be enough, and i can't even touch people like inversion in terms of getting them out of green/light blue.

I really am quite confused by it all!

Allowed Attacks: 8 (bonus 32%)
Attacks Denied: 3 (bonus 30%)

I will explain what these mean.

Allowed Attacks: 8 It means how many moves in a row you will do, before your opponent interrupts it, but your opponents Denied attacks is taken away from it. And Vice-Versa.

The Percentage it the likely hood it will happen.

i have 7 and 3, and i see people doing fine with 6 and 2!

I guess it is just the luck sometimes, as i beat soho every once in a while, but as soon as a couple of his sub moves trademarks get in then i'm dead

Yea balance seem to go through several phases, at first we are weak against Resistance, as we get to about level 7 it become techs, about level 11 you'll find that strengths will be your biggest weakness, as for past level 12 who knows I let you know when I get there lol

Is it worth pumping up escape subs or better to just let it be? I tried it at 20+ and it didn't do much more than now at 14??

Good to know others have some experience of evil techs then Razz

Up Damage Reducer and DDI, once at a certain level Tecs become less of a problem.

So is that forget about Escape subs..can you get away with nothing in that or is it best to get to a percentage and then leave it?

Now take my fed match for example. No chance in that match at all, and my ratings are steadily going down on the game also.

I have 8 allowed attacks, 3 denied..have reasonable AB and block and escape subs etc but for the most part i get in a bout 2 hits and my hits are blocked/dodged all the time. I have tried having high berserker and feint, and it even when i interrupt people i get blocked 2 seconds later and/or interuppted myself.

I get the occasional match where i get a couple of hits in and manage to take it all the way, but i'm finding a huge number of matches where i barely get a shot in.

I've also noticed that i'm losing to people with 6k rating below me more often than i would like.

It doesn't seem to make much difference what my adrenaline gain is as in the crap matches i'm not hitting them at all so don't get the chance to build it up...unless i was at asome silly number like 40+ which seems unreasonable as i need other stats in strength up as well.

I know i have fairly low stats for where i'm at, and i wonder whether it is just because i haven't got the experience to plug into advanced techniques like lots of others?

Well the allowed/denied attacks are not really worth pumping up all that much imo. Certainly you need alot of Stamina to back up everything, followed by DR and then DDI, after that comes anything else you want to hit up.

You also got to remember everyone and their dog is probably reseting so nobody has a crap build really anymore so its all comes down to ATs, which sucks but what can you do but follow suit.

But in terms of not being able to hit anyone, and always getting blocked/dodged..does that not mean my AB is too low? IT is around 50

But yes i guess you are right, advanced techs seem to be the difference now and that just takes playing time unfortunately.
