TWG changes
How does this stat + move reset thing work then?
And what do people think to the 'special bonuses'??

Re: TWG changes
Wowser...it is quite nice then!!
The first one is a stat point reset. You can reset all your skills in your stat menu. Strength, Speed, Tech, and resistance without losing the levels you trained them. This will free up your points so that you can redistribute them to make your wrestler better. This also deletes all your moves that you gained with the stat points you spent prior. You will get all the fantas you spent training your moves and you will also get back the time spent training them to reapoint them as you see fit. For example if you spent 3000 hours training your moves you get to get all the money back training them plus the time spent. So you get free training time for your moves till you use up the 3000 hours of training. If your moves have leveled normally by using them in matches you will still recieve the fantas for training them as well as the time alotted that it would have taken to train them manually. You will also be able to keep your trademarks and your finishers and taunts. This new ability will cost 50 Tournament Points.

Re: TWG changes
Having pondered for a moment, i can't really see how this is good for the game.
IT appears to me that someone will be able to put out a pretty perfect build for each class, and all you have to do is reset and set yourself on the way to it?
Will this money grabbing thing mean the end of TWG as a reasonably tactical game and just make everyone fairly generic?

It will completely destroy the game in my opinion, saying that though I also taken advantage of it but its sad they're getting so greedy for money that they offer this.

Re: TWG changes
Yeah this will wreck the game, the people that do not mind wasting their money will now dominate everyone else on the game.
I personally have better things to spend my money on.
Its just a money grabbing exercise for the owners of the game, this can not really be called a free online game now, anyone not forking out and buying tournement points are just playing a demo of the game if u want my opinion.

Re: TWG changes
I agree that this will be the downfall of the games popularity. TP buying is bad (which I have done), but in my opinion this is worse. A large part of the game in my opinion was starting over and the time it takes to see if it pays off. I think I am done with TWG. I am only going to focus my energy on AWA (when time permits). Reading peoples RPs is the best part of this game anyway.

Lol, I am not leaving AWA. However, TWG costs too much money to worry about advancing. I will just stay in AWA, build fans and RP.

Re: TWG changes
Hmm so they have a couple of new ones...
Trademark reset for what seems like 0.2% cost and entrace sell for full amount.

Trademark reset seems wasted, why would you pay 20TP to do one and still lose an amount of excutions when you can do it for free and only lose 20%, as for entrance reset, why would any sane person do that?
Still on the plus side the new Ironman Match type is really cool and I hope feds get it soon.

It seems quite fun, and i've had a bit of success in it against other balanced and res..against speed and strength and sometimes tech i seem to fall down a lot

Ironman matches OWN!
Have you seen Petervenning now ? HE has 0 entrances, but them ALL in SA's has Most of them like (+100/6%) It's alright, but is a waste for the fed.
The 20% for a TM is a waste, because most of the time to level it to a move that is 10 times better so you usually get a better result.

Now what do we all think to the gym thing? Alternative to advanced techs using both exp and lots of money by the looks of it.

Re: TWG changes
Gym thing ?
EDIT: I just saw it, I might make a gym after I find out what it does. I'll let everyone in AWA go to it or whatever it does if I do.

Re: TWG changes
Not tried it yet, but my understanding of it is as follows.
In order to buy one of those advantages you need to purchase a gym, then the stat you wish to increase, in order to advance one of the stats to a level 2 you need a level 2 gym and so forth, look expensive but fun.

Re: TWG changes
I found out what happens.
First you must guy a gym, which comes at 50.000 FE. And this can only be used by you and yourself nobody else. The move option is to make your move train at a shorter rate, which I don't think is worth it. Now the only ones that I say are worth it are Health, Stamina and Dodge/Block. It's kind of like SA's, but this bonus goes straight to your think and not as a bonus. Also you have to pay 1000 exp so it's actually expensive, but I won't do this.
